LBA Policy on Cannabis, Alcohol and Fireworks

"The use or smoking of any cannabis substance as defined in the Connecticut General Statutes Sec. 21-240 is hereby prohibited on any Property owned by the Laurel Beach Association.”

Members of the Laurel Beach Association are also cautioned against alcohol consumption on the beach. The potential for accidents and inebriation are serious. The Laurel Beach Association does not condone nor authorize the consumption of alcohol on the Laurel Beach boardwalk or the beach at any time.

Because the use of fireworks has the potential for serious injury, and because the private use of most fireworks is illegal, the Laurel Beach Board of Managers, on behalf of the Laurel Beach Association, has established a policy against the use of fireworks on any Laurel Beach property. The use of fireworks on any Laurel Beach property is not condoned nor authorized at any time.
